Berries and total cancer.

Total cancer risk: Data about total cancer risk was provided by 2 cohorts. Within the smallest cohort (7), an increased risk was found, while no significant association with risk was found in the other cohort (19). Definitions of berries differed among the cohorts.
Total cancer mortality: No data was found.

Conclusion: A significantly increased cancer risk was found in one cohort of small size, but no other associations were found. No evidence was found for an association between berries and total cancer.
