Total cancer risk: Data about total cancer risk was provided by 4 cohorts, including a total of 13,649 cases. No associations were found with green (2, 20) or green leafy vegetables (11).
Effect modification: Data about possible effect modification was provided by a pooled analyses of 2 cohorts (11). No effect modification was found by multivitamin use, or smoking status.
Total cancer mortality: Data about total cancer mortality was provided by 2 cohorts. No association was found with green (8), or green leafy vegetables (21).

Conclusion: No evidence was found for an association between green (leafy vegetables) and total cancer.
